The Royal Palm will thrive when planted in a sunny location or partial sun. They are often used to line a long driveway, along streets or planted on both sides of a garden area, where its stately appearance makes a grand statement. Roystonea regia have a medium to fast growth rate, are considered to be a smart drought tolerant option and have low to moderate watering needs once established. It’s a remarkably heat tolerant palm, in fact, it loves the heat - we plant these in desert areas such as Palm Springs and Phoenix where they grow into majestic beauties that are a sight to behold!

Royal Palms do incredibly well in nearly all soil conditions and do look great no matter where or how you plant one or two or three! Their pinnate fronds soften every landscape and create a great silhouette with up lighting that is sure to impress the neighbors. We love to plant Royal Palms around swimming pools or spas - its reflection on mirror-smooth water captivates and creates that calming mood people love. Royal Palms are an excellent candidate for a variety of areas, from cities to coastal and into the desert!

We take pride in being the only people that grow these from our stock of prized specimen trees, and we’ve been doing it this way for over 20 years! We assure their quality and have the larger trees available in smaller containers, so you get better bang for your buck!
